We  are a  vibrant  and young  professional  string  quartet  based  in  the  Bournemouth  and Poole area of Dorset. We regularly perform in concert, and have worked with funding through the Arts Council of England. We have given numerous performances in established recital series in Dorset, as well as many churches, theatres and festivals in the south of England. We are building a close relationship with Bournemouth University, and are looking forward to giving more recitals at the University. In 2007 we recorded backing tracks for  adverts which were broadcast on national TV in The Netherlands and Germany, and in early 2008 we were invited onto local radio to give our first interview about the string quartet.
We are available for concerts, weddings and other private events.
As individuals, we have attended Guildhall School of Music and Trinity College of Music in London, and have played with orchestras such as the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, Brandenburg Sinfonia, The English National Baroque Orchestra, and the Auckland Chamber Orchestra, New Zealand.  Please click here to see our individual biographies.

We enjoy playing new works of young composers in the south of England, and have given world premiere performances of String Quartet No.1 by Ian Tipping in Portsmouth, and "String Quartet" by Clive Lukover in Poole during 2007. We will be premiering Ian's 2nd quartet in Portsmouth in February 2008.

Our  String Quartet can play for you in Dorset, the New Forest, Hampshire, Wiltshire, Somerset, and anywhere else in the UK or indeed worldwide by discussion.  For smaller venues or budgets we can provide you with a Duo or even a Solo Violinist, for example!
